OUIL603 - Patrick tutorial

Issues discussed at tutorial
- Screen printing pigeons as a book and promo.
- Big Kahuna - early development stages, needs to be accelerated, large scale needs development - How to approach this?
- Laser cut and screen printed, collapsable pieces that can be assembled in schools and in context.
- Degree show, large scale cutouts, educational pack (practical) characters and environment (story to follow) Backstory/synopsis - Who are the monsters? How many are there?


Student Action
- More direct research in schools -  Ages? - Sure Start and community groups - Leader/teacher feedback.
- Induction in laser cutting - Make moquettes.
- Consider how the stories are delivered in show and practically.

TO DO LIST:

  • Research into school packs
  • Look into existing illustrated mental health packs, if there are any?
  • finalise the monsters
  • do more development papercutting
  • Think about the end of year show and how that will tie into my project.
  • What is practical to my time scale?
