I found the Lonliness Monster was one of the hardest characters to design, there aren't many obvious expressions or recognisable qualities of lonliness, so I just tried to make the character seem really timid and sad, I think the design will work better in context, when I can show the scale of the character compared to the others.
Lonliness was my least favourite character to design, if I had the time I would definitely spend longer testing out different body shapes and expressions to better convey loneliness, I think he will work fine in context, but I don't think he is as obvious as the other characters.
