Natasha Devon
Our team is dedicated to challenging stereotypes, reducing mental health stigma, and educating young people (as well as their teachers and parents) on self-esteem. We travel the UK visiting schools, colleges and universities, to deliver our multi award-winning classes, lectures and workshops. The presentations cover topics like:
- Body image
- Self Esteem/Mental health
- Understanding self harm
- Understanding eating disorders
- Working with exam stress
The team also provide a parent presentation which teaches parents how to nuture self-esteem, how to cope with online bullying and helping parents to communicate effectively.
I'm really excited about this because I think it basically links directly to my project, I intend on email Natasha Devon after the deadline to ask for some advice on where I could take my project and how I could go about getting it introduced into schools, because I'd have absolutely no idea how to approach that or who to contact, hopefully she would help me along seeing as she seems pretty devoted to aiding with childhood mental health issues.
